Food Waste in Households in Poland—Attitudes of Young and Older Consumers towards the Phenomenon of Food Waste as Demonstrated by Students and Lecturers of PULS

The article aims to compare various aspects of food waste in the context rational management using example two groups: students and employees Poznań University Life Sciences (PULS). survey was conducted on current level wastage households PULS, involving 266 respondents, including 187 (N1) 79 (N2). research analysis obtained results showed differences between younger older people relation proper storage, appropriate use surplus, awareness both consequences waste, existence this problem is a consumer behavior. Both groups surveyed consumers food, but it more frequently larger quantities than employees. This situation resulted from different habits attitudes towards waste. indicated that are effective reducing their own through better leftovers.
